Library Advisory Committee
The Library Advisory Committee attends to and reports to faculty members on library developments that are of interest to the College. The committee files monthly, written reports to the president of the Faculty Council, in addition to an annual report to both the dean and the Faculty Council on its activities.

Library Advisory Committee meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month during the academic year in the fourth floor conference room of Cabell Library from 3-4:15 p.m.

Membership
The Library Advisory Committee is composed of one elected member from each department, school and interdisciplinary program. Four student members nominated by the Student Government Association, representing the divisions of the College, area also appointed by the committee at the first meeting each year. A representative appointed by the library and the dean or the dean’s designee shall serve as an ex-officio member. The chair of the committee is the College’s representative to the University Library Advising Committee.
