Thesis and dissertation
A large part of many graduate programs in the College is the thesis or dissertation.
Developed by the University Graduate Council and VCU Libraries, the VCU Graduate School Thesis and Dissertation Manual ![[PDF]](../../images/layout/pdficon_small.gif){kind=small}
serves as a guide for preparing graduate theses and dissertations for students in all programs within the university.
The Graduate School, Office of Academic Technology and VCU Libraries have also joined together to create the Electronic Theses and Dissertations project to preserve the research completed by graduate students at the university. These digital representations of your thesis or dissertation work can be a simple text document or a complex combination of images and formats.
