If you want to be involved with innovative and cutting-edge developments in your field, research at VCU and the College can help provide that opportunity.
VCU’s Office of Research offers a wealth of information on the advantages of research and sources of funding and the process for securing an undergraduate research experience. You can also find details on undergraduate research training programs at the university, such as the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs’ Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, where you’ll be involved in each phase of the research process — developing research plans, writing proposals, conducting research, analyzing data and presenting research results.
The Undergraduate Research Toolkit from VCU Libraries also provides resources and tips for conducting undergraduate research at VCU.
Additional research opportunities may be available to students in The Honors College or through your department.
