BIOL 510 Conservation Biology Lecture. Semester course; 3 lecture hours; 3 credits.

Course Goals:

Introduce the principles of conservation biology.

Introduce some of the biological technologies employed by conservation biologists.

Introduce methods for assessing various types of phenomena that affect biodiversity.

Illustrate some of the difficulties encountered by resource stewards who wish to apply conservation principles.
