Dr. Vonesh joined the Biology faculty at VCU in January 2007 after post docs with Jon Chase at Washington University in Saint Louis and Karen Warkentin at Boston University. He did his graduate training under Craig Osenberg (PhD) and Harvey Lillywhite (MSc) in the Department of Zoology at the University of Florida and received his bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College. His research generally focuses on aquatic organisms with complex life cycles and seeks to understand how processes within life stages scale-up across stages to influence population and community ecology and linkages between aquatic and terrestrial systems.
