Research interests:
Looking at protective mechanisms in cells that are associated with exposure to environmental stress.

Dr. Sharon Bullock received a B.S. degree in zoology from North Carolina State University in 1991 and her Ph.D. in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. She also is involved in advising biology (pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-veterinarian medicine) students during the school year and the summer STAR programs.
