Chemical modeling track

This track is unique to VCU and allows students to combine their interests in mathematics, computers and chemistry to understanding the important uses of molecular visualization to a wide range of chemical and biological applications. This track is ideal for students interested in further studying pharmacy and medicinal chemistry. Specific degree requirements appear in the chart below.

1 42-45 Chemistry credits and 30-33 credits other requirements.
2 Students must take the chemistry placement test. CHEM 100 is offered for students who lack preparation for CHEM 101 and does not count toward the 37 credits needed for the chemistry degree.
3 Students must take the math placement test. Depending on the results, the student may be placed in MATH 151 prior to enrolling in MATH 200.
