Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we offer more than 60 scholarships specifically for currently enrolled students who have completed 30 or more hours in the College. They include:
- Office of the dean scholarships
- Departmental scholarships
- L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs scholarships
- School of Mass Communications and Brandcenter scholarships
- School of World Studies scholarships
Incoming freshmen and transfer students are eligible for scholarships through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, as well as through The Honors College.
All applications for College scholarships are due Feb. 1. If you have any questions about applying, contact us at HASAWARDS@vcu.edu, or see your department chair or advisor.

Fund a scholarship
By policy of the VCU Foundation, endowed scholarships are funded with a minimum of $10,000 and provide financial assistance based on a 5 percent distribution of accrued interest. Current scholarships are funded with contributions that are made on an annual basis during the university’s fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
