The Department of English at Virginia Commonwealth University is staffed by forty-two full-time faculty (twenty-seven tenure track and fifteen instructors) in all areas of English studies, by a number of adjunct faculty with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests, and by graduate assistants from its MA, MFA, and PhD programs.
