BA in History from Mary Washington College, where he was awarded the alumni association scholarship and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma and Phi Alpha theta honor societies.
John Beardsley (poetry) received his
BA in English from University of Wisconsin, where he also was the recipient of the Heidi Award in poetry.
Sara Bohannon (poetry) received her
BA in English from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was awarded the Provost Scholarship and graduated cum laude.
Lindsay Chudzik (fiction) received her
BA in English from Temple University and her
MA in English at Virginia Commonwealth University where she sered as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Her plays, Tied in Knots and Raw Onions and Relish were selected for Marymount Manhattan's New Playwrights Festival, and her fiction has appeared in Nior.
Andrea Cleary (poetry) received her
BA in English from Hope College. For the past few years she has taught ESL in Budapest, Hungary and tutored in an afterschool program for underserved students/schools in Denver, CO.
Laura Davenport (poetry) received her
BA in English from the College of Charleston. She was awarded the 2007/2008 Graduate School Fellowship and previously worked on such literary publications as Crazyhorse and Polyphony.
Elizabeth Hahn (fiction) received her
BFA in Theatre from Tulane University. She most recently was on faculty at the VCU School of Mass Communications where she taught writing- and strategy-intensive courses such as Advertising Campaigns, Copywriting, and Creativity for Television.

Albert Hofheimer (fiction) received his
BA and MA in English from the University of Virginia. He has published fiction in numerous literary magazines and is the author of the novel, Washington Call Girl. His novella, Last Full Service Crocodile Ranch in Quintana Roco was awarded the A.E. Coppard Prize for Long Fiction.
Marie Potoczny (fiction) received her
B.Ph. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University (Ohio). Her fiction most recently appeared in The Denver Quarterly, and her nonfiction work was published in City Edition.
Elizabeth Quinn (fiction) received her
BA in Studio Art at the University of the South and recently transferred from theMFA program at the University of Arkansas, where she was a University Fellow and a McIlroy Family Visiting Professorship Workshop Selectee.
Lisa Williams (fiction) received her
