About Poictesme Poictesme is the undergraduate student literary journal of Virginia Commonwealth University. It is distributed freely every spring to the student body and the surrounding community. The journal is a non-profit organization that is funded entirely by student activity fees. All of the students working on Poictesme are undergraduates from differing schools and disciplines. The only requirements for being on staff are that you have to be a current VCU student and must have an interest in the journal. We are always looking for dedicated people to join the staff.
