Live drama on stage in
Spanish, French German and other languages--Foreign Languages on Stage is a unique
opportunity for high school teachers to put to use the Virginia Standards of Language
(SOL) aquisition at different levels, whether students are participants or spectators to
the event. As spectators, students will be exposed to the target language in a way that
will make it possible for them to identify some customs and traditions of the Spanish,
French or German speaking worlds. As participants, the students have the opportunity to
stage a play or a short story, and to share their endeavors will other fellow students and
with the community at large. For more information, contact Dr. Navarro.
