Education
Angelica Bega-Hart earned a Master of Arts in Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. Prior to her graduate work, she received an Associate of Science from Richard Bland College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Professional experience
Bega-Hart is the administrator for the VCU Department of Forensic Science She has been employed at VCU since 2001 in various administrative capacities. She also serves on numerous departmental and university committees.

Professional accomplishments
Bega-Hart has been recognized several times with acknowledgements of extraordinary contribution for her administrative work and is proud of the working relationship she has built with numerous individuals at the university. She has had multiple nominations as a VCU Pride Ambassador. In addition to her work, Bega-Hart enjoys reading, traveling and working with local animal rescue organizations.
