Alexandrian Society

The Alexandrian Society is a department-sponsored student organization for history majors and other students interested in history.  The organization takes its name from the library at Alexandria, Egypt, one of the foremost centers of intellectual enlightenment in the ancient world.

As the semester gets underway, please don't miss the opportunity to be a part of this dynamic organization. The Alexandrian Society is a history club that has long been acknowledged as one of the elite groups on campus among both faculty and students alike. The group elects its own officers, and coordinates lectures and symposiums featuring esteemed professors and academics in a wide variety of fields as guest speakers. If you think you would like to be a part of our dedicated group please contact the society president, Chris Tucker.
