Concentration Requirements (15 credits).

Students select one of the following concentrations:

The Arts in Global Perspective

Two of the following three courses (6 credits): 

ARTH 207 Introduction to Non-Western Art
INTL/ENGL 211 Contemporary World Literature
INTL/MHIS 220 Introduction to World Music

Students are required to complete three additional courses (9 credits) from Concentration List A as approved by the students’ advisers.

International Institutions and Globalization

Two of the following three courses (6 credits): 

INTL/AFAM/ECON 315 Economic Development
INTL/POLI 361 Issues in World Politics
INTL/POLI 362 International Organizations and                            Institutions

Students are required to complete three additional courses (9 credits) from Concentration List B as approved by the students’ advisers.

International Relations

Two of the following courses when not used as core courses (3-6 credits):   

INTL/POLI 105 International Relations
INTL/POLI 361 Issues in World Politics
INTL/POLI 365 International Political Economy

Students are required to complete three to four additional courses (9 -12credits) from Concentration List C as approved by the students’ advisers.

Social Relations in International Perspective

Two of the following three courses (6 credits):

INTL/SOCY 330 Global Societies
