Students entering prior to Spring 2002 may choose to complete one of the old International Studies minors:

You may be interested in our new Certificate Program in International Management Studies offered jointly by the VCU School of Business and the College of Humanities & Sciences.  International management, foreign languages, and European studies combine in a unique program intended to equip students for careers in international business.

Coordinated through the College of Humanities and Sciences, International Studies minors are open to all VCU undergraduate students, and allow students to earn a minor in one of the program areas while simultaneously completing their requirements for the baccalaureate degree.

The Program Advisors provide general advice to students, makes referrals for advising depending on the chosen track or area minor, works closely with faculty in appropriate departments who are responsible for a particular track or minor, and provides the final approval to certify that the minor has been completed.

STUDY ABROAD

Each of the minors urges student participation in a study abroad program wherever possible. All students who meet eligibility requirements for federal financial aid are permitted to use this assistance in approved study abroad programs. All reasonable costs associated with study abroad programs may be incorporated into the determination of financial aid eligibility.
