
Russian Area Studies Minor
(18 credits)
The Russian Area Studies Minor requires the completion of
18 credits drawn from a list of approved courses, with at least 12 credits taken at the
300/400 level.
At least three credits must be taken in the humanities and
three credits in the social sciences.
Students are required to complete Russian language courses
through the intermediate (201-202 or 205) level.
Native Russian speakers cannot use language courses at the
200 level as part of the 18 credits for the Russian Area Studies Minor.
Students are strongly recommended to take
Russian 301-302.
Students also are urged to complete a study abroad
experience of at least one month in Russia.
