About the Convention Center
The convention center is located at 403 North 3rd Street--a short walk from the coliseum, and there is a parking garage nearby. Get directions and more information about parking here.
Mass Communications Graduation Sign-up Sheet
If you plan to participate in the School of Mass Communications ceremony, we ask that you write your full name and local telephone number on the sign-up sheet in the Mass Communications front office, room 2216 Temple. This is the list used to determine the names to be included in the graduation program, so it's important that all graduates sign up. Candidates who are not in the Richmond area may call (804) 828-2660 to have their names placed on the list.
Mass Communications Ceremony
Graduates attending the ceremony at the convention center are asked to arrive by 12:30 p.m.
Caps and Gowns
Academic regalia is available through the VCU Monroe Park Campus bookstore. There is no charge for graduates. If you have not already ordered your cap and gown, you may call the bookstore at (804) 828-1678 for additional information.
