For Students

  • Students working in Dr. Eissenberg’s laboratory can expect to plan, run, and report the results of experiments that use human subjects to investigate drug abuse issues. Current research involves understanding how pharmacologic and associative factors influence tobacco use and the contribution of drug-related cues on nicotine withdrawal. Emphasis is placed on drug use as a behavioral phenomenon. Dependent measures include amount, frequency, and duration of drug self-administration and subjective reports of drug effects.
