Analgesia Studies

We are currently evaluating analgesics for efficacy as well as abuse liability. Research participants are exposed to UV light and tested 24 hours later by administering varying intensities of heat. Subjective ratings of intensity and unpleasantness of the stimuli are ascertained with visual analog scales.
