About the therapists

Our clinic is a training facility operated by the Doctoral Psychology programs of Virginia Commonwealth University. Therapists at the Anxiety Clinic are advanced doctoral students from the clinical and counseling programs and have a special interest in treating anxiety disorders. These therapists are supervised by two members of the Department of Psychology faculty Dr. Scott Vrana, Ph.D., and Dr. Michael Southam-Gerow, Ph.D. who are licensed clinical psychologists in Virginia and who have expertise in anxiety disorder treatment and research.
