Research interests

My recent work has focused on the use of data, research and technology in efforts to strengthen community capacity and community-level social capital. I also am involved in the development and evaluation of adolescent, family and community preventive interventions supporting healthy developmental trajectories for urban youth. My work emphasizes the role of culture and community in intervention and prevention. My other major interests include university partnerships and community collaboration in supporting change.
