As a student-athlete at Virginia Commonwealth University,
you have the opportunity to develop your academic, athletic
and
personal abilities in a community environment. In addition,
athletics gives you an opportunity to travel, represent
your institution and learn the importance of teamwork. Representing
your team and the university requires a commitment to certain
ethical guidelines and behaviors. Such ethics include but
are not limited to:

The coach is responsible for the total conduct of his/her sport
program within limits of authority defined by the:

philosophy and goals of the Athletic Department,
|
2.

university and Athletic Department policies and procedures,
and
|
3.
|
rules and regulations of the Colonial Athletic Association
and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
