Sexual and Domestic Violence Intervention agencies are represented on an advisory group for the certificate program which includes representatives of a variety of types of potential employers in the area of sexual and domestic violence, including nonprofit organizations and state and local government agencies. The members of the advisory group contribute to the development of the program curriculum by identifying the specific skills and areas of knowledge required of their employees to accomplish their organizations' goals and objectives in this area. Currently, members include Virginians Against Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance, Virginia Department of Health, the YWCA, and Safe Harbor .
