Donelson R. Forsyth, Professor of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, joined the faculty of VCU in 1978. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 1974, a Masters of Science from University of Florida in 1975, and Ph.D. in Psychology from that university in 1978. As a social psychologist, Dr. Forsyth is primarily interested in interpersonal processes and the psychological mechanisms that influence those processes. His particular specialities include moral judgment, attribution, and group dynamics, and has published in such journals as the American Psychologist, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Social Psychology Quarterly, and Journal of Research in Personality. He has also written a half-dozen books on social and group processes, including Our Social World and Group Dynamics. |
