Walter Witschey PhD

Witschey is the director and CEO of the Science Museum of Virginia and a vice president of Association of Science and Technology Centers.  He is trained as a Mayan archaeologists, and currently holds an adjunct appointment in the VCU Life Sciences program.  He is the author of many scholarly articles (including “
Many Roles to Play: The Science Center as Community Powerhouse (Dimensions, Jan-Feb 2001), and he also writes an occasional column on science education for the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
