The Zulu Language Program welcomes you to VCU and the School of World Studies! Zulu is the most spoken language in South Africa. VCU’s partnership with the University Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa highlights the cultural connections between the Zulu and English-speaking members of the world. The Program focuses on the written and spoken nature of the language in order to introduce the students to an inflectionally unique language system. The Program also encourages its students to travel to South-Africa and form new cultural connections to their own communities.
