The Virginia Governor's Foreign Language Academies is a highly successful program in which top language students from Virginia high schools spend several weeks of their summers in intensive foreign language study. This year's program dates: June 21/22 - July 13. Here are some upcoming events this summer:
Thursday, July 17: International Market -- New Olympics video added. New Academy student work added.
Tuesday, July 1: Global Village Olypmics -- parade from Gladding Residence Center (Main St. across from Monroe Park) begins at 5:15 pm and proceeds through the campus to the Student Commons Plaza (approx. 5:30 - 5:45) and then down to the Cary St Field (approx. 6:00 - 8:30).
