The Department provides quality instruction in foreign languages, cultures, and literatures, and promotes critical thinking and develops analytical, as well as written and oral communication skills.

The majority of our students did score at the target level designated by the department according to ACTFL guidelines.

While we had a majority score well, I consider the number of students who did not to be an area that neeeds attention. This will require participation of the entire Spanish faculty.
