            The World Affairs Council of Greater Richmond is a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization whose mission is to educate and inform citizens of Central Virginia about the importance and relevance of international affairs and international knowledge.                          

Intern Responsibilities:

• Perform Internet research concerning prospective public speakers and speaking events featuring major international-affairs and global-affairs issues.
• Research and prepare an article for the Council's Newsletter on a topic of international or global interest.
• Assist in mailings, database maintenance, and other operational aspects of the Council's work.
• Assist in organizing and conducting public programs.

Language/Skill Requirements:

• No specific requirements.

Hours & Pay:            

• Minimum of 5 hours per week.
• Volunteer Opportunity.
