Experiential Learning

The School of World Studies emphasizes experiential learning as an instruction tool. Experiencing the world is the most important step to truly understanding it. Students are highly encouraged to participate in the following areas:

All SWS students must complete the World Passport before their graduation applications can be processed. SWS students can pick up a copy of their passport and have experiential learning activities recorded in their passports at the SWS Advising Office located at 817 West Franklin Street, Suite B-16, Tel (804) 827-3431.

SWS students participate in experiential learning activities in four major areas:
