Paola Tessarolo is a native of Vicenza, Italy, in the Veneto region. She graduated with honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University and majored in Spanish. She is currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts degree with a focus on Western European culture & Latin American culture. Paola is passionate about art and languages and has been an educator of foreign languages since 2004. She first gained experience teaching Italian to adult learners at the University of Richmond’s School of Continuing Studies. This fall will be Paola’s fifth semester as an adjunct instructor at VCU. In her leisure time she enjoys fishing, cooking, and gardening.
