Hi, my name is Tony Brinckwirth.

I am the Director of the World Studies Media Center and the Coordinator of Technology in the School of World Studies. I am also a PhD student in the School of Education. I will be completing my coursework this summer and look forward to beginning my dissertation in the fall.

In addition to overseeing the School's website, I assist the Office of International Education with projects related to VCU's partner university in Brazil, Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

Every summer I assist the VA Governor's Language Academies with their IT and media production needs. Click here to view the 2007 program.

My interests include new media, web development and foreign language education. I speak Spanish and Portuguese, and I have studied Russian and French in depth.

My linguistic passion is Brazilian Portuguese.
