Dale's major interests include the New Testament and the intersection of faith and the arts.  In addition to teaching at VCU, Dale writes fiction, dramatic monologues, and book reviews.  His work has most recently appeared in Other Voices , Presbyterians Today , and the Acts of Faith play festival.
