She taught high school French language course at all levels and still does for Richmond Public Schools. She would like to continue working on curricular development for French studies at the secondary level for American speakers in the K-12 levels.
She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and lived in Europe and Canada.
Ms Vernet received the "Black History in the Making" Award from VCU in 2002. |
