What are the current genetic, biological and medical perspectives on the validity of race or ethnicity as a concept? Biologically and theologically, are we one human family or several different peoples, or both? What are the Religious and ethical perspectives on race, differences and relations? What is tribalism and how does it relate to race and ethnicity? What role did race and racism play in the schism that divided Baptists into “American Baptists” and “Southern Baptists”? What was at stake for those American Christians who supported slavery, discrimination and miscegenation? What will happen with this category over the next 25, 50, 100 years?
