HOW TO USE THIS LESSON PLAN

1. INTRODUCTION TO FRENCH PRONUNCIATION
Primarily designed for FREN 101 students, this program can be used by FREN 102 or advanced level students who want to improve their pronunciation. This is a learning, not a testing device. Requires "Flash".

2- REVIEW CHECKLISTS and REVIEW TESTS
These documents will help you review before tests and prepare for the final exam.

3- GRADED ASSIGNMENTS

ESPACES Web-SAM :  electronic version of the printed ESPACES Workbook/Video Manual and Lab Manual. The Web-SAM delivers this material with automatic scoring. It includes Lab Audio and Video programs. When you "submit" your work, the scores are forwarded to your instructor.

To access ESPACES Web-SAM:

1) go to the following site: http://books.quia.com/books

2) Create a new account

3) Enter the book key (code packaged with your textbook, or purchased at Quia bookstore to accompany used textbooks).

4) Enter the course code (provided by your instructor).

-- Although each lesson is theoretically designed t o be covered within a week, precise due dates cannot be listed on this site. These dates will be affected by the schedule of your individual course sections (ei., four, three, two weekly meetings) and possible university closings due to weather conditions. However, the deadline for assignments of the first lesson of each unit is on the day when the material of the next lesson is introduced in class. The deadline for the second lesson of each unit is on the day of the corresponding test.  See your instructor's syllabus for specific dates.

4- MORE EXERCISES

These websites offer other interactive exercises.  Although you will not receive a grade for using them, they will certainly help you improve your general performance.

5- USEFUL LINKS
This site was designed for students interested in knowing more about various aspects of the French culture.  ENJOY!
