World Studies Media Center FAQ

What is SCOLA?

SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that recieves and re-transmits television programming from around the world in native languages. It is our source of international channels here in the WSMC lab. The channels we recieve offer popular programming and news in several languages such as: Portugese, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, and Italian. These channels can be accessed from any computer in the WSMC lab. A list of the channels that the WSMC lab offers can be found here, and programming schedules can be found at www.SCOLA.org.

Use WinTV to access these SCOLA channels.
