Tell Me More is language learning software we have installed on all of the computers here in the lab. As a supplemental tool to your language learning experience, Tell Me More provides well over 200 hours of interactive content. The two modes, Guided and Free-to-Roam offer activities in culture, word recognition, pronunciation and many others.
QUICK START GUIDE
With the voice recognition software, the program is able to guide the student through dialogues and word drills to improve pronunciation and intonation. Each level of the software, from beginner to advanced, focuses upon the learner associating words with pictures as well as absorbing the cultural aspects the chosen language. This software encourages the student to begin to think in the target language, thus contributing to the overall language learning experience.
We currently offer German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic.
Remember these navigation tools will allow you to go back to the start, and in between steps.
If you selected Guided Mode
1) Start by choosing a Learning Path. The guided mode will assist you with your path.
2) Next you will choose a specific activity to begin practicing your language.
3) This is what the actualy activity will look like. Remember the navigation
on the bottom will return you to the previous list.
If you selected Free to Roam
1) Click an image to begin your path.
2) Choose your topic from the top right bar.
3) Answer the questions in your exercise.
