Nicole Campbell

Hi, I'm Nicole Campbell and I'm a Mediterranean Studies major with a minor in Italian and Music and I'm receiving the award for excellence in Italian.  I feel very honored to receive this award because I'm not Italian by heritage, my family's been here forever but it's something I've been fascinated with for about ten years and finally I have the opportunity to study this language and this beautiful culture.  I love the faculty here, especially the Italian department, they're very responsive when I have questions, they're very personable and I just feel like I know them very well and that they're really great people.
