Volunteer Opportunity - American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter

If you would like to practice your Spanish, add cross-cultural experience to your resume, and/or add to
your community service hours, please contact Volunteer Resource Manager,
Sana Khalid, at
KhalidS@usa.redcross.org or (804) 343-2096
.  Last summer, with the help of VCU World Studies and
other student volunteers, our chapter was able to provide more than 7,150
RichmondCity, Chesterfield
and Henrico residents with disaster prevention and preparedness materials.  We would like to continue
this door-to-door outreach effort this summer.  This six-week program is scheduled to start June 24th
and end August 1st and will run weekly Tuesday thru Saturday
.  Whether you’re able to help one day
or 20, each hour spent will help ensure another family or families are better prepared.

Thank you, in advance, for your possible assistance with this outreach effort.

counselors.

L.L.C., please email The Bridge CDC at volunteeruniversity@gmail.com.  Minimal experience is required.
You will be trained. Proficiency in speaking Spanish is a must.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer
bilingual interpreter, please email Terrell Pollard of The Bridge CDC at volunteer.thebridge@gmail.com.
