Objectives

In this course you will:

  • learn about words and sentences, their forms and formation, their structure and development, their uses and contexts,
  • learn about grammar, usage, punctuation, mechanics, spelling, and style in a variety of spoken and written discourses, and
  • increase your vocabulary and develop your language fluency in a variety of situations, especially academic ones.
