This project was supposed to be consciousness...

Really - what I was attempting to do was simulate the way the mind on an individual, any individual, might work at a very intimate level.

When I finally began work on this project, I was concerned with two things: 1) The newness and relative peculiarity of this thing known as hypertext and 2) the ontic state of meaning my eventual creation would have.

This is an odd way of going about the explanation, I know, but bear with me...
